Podiatrist CORU Registered
Rachel graduated from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh in 2007 with a BSc Degree in Podiatry. Once registered with the Health Professions Council & Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists, Rachel immediately began work in the private sector, and is experienced in all areas of Podiatry and Chiropody, including, but not limited to: general nail care, hard skin and corn reduction, verrucae treatments, nail surgery and insole supply.
In 2017 Rachel completed a Professional Credit in the Management of Diabetic Foot Disease at The University of Galway.
In 2022/23 all our Podiatrists undertook registration with CORU, Ireland's multi-profession Health Regulator. From March 2023, all Podiatrists must hold CORU registration to practice in Ireland.
Podiatrist CORU Registered
Geraldine graduated from University Galway with her degree in Podiatry in 2018, and once registered with the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists of Ireland, she commenced working in private practice in County Galway. As a Mayo native, she was keen to work closer to home and joined Footworks in Summer 2018.
Geraldine specialises in routine podiatry treatments, diabetic assessments, wound care, and gait assessments. She recently completed training on nail reconstruction and has a keen interest in expanding her skill set. Geraldine offers appointments both in the clinical setting and within the community.

Podiatrist CORU Registered
Footworks welcomed Sean in early 2022 to join our Foxford clinc and increase capacity for home visits. Sean completed his studies in the UK and worked for the NHS for 3 years. After moving to Ireland and working within the I.T. sector, Sean has enjoyed using his Podiatry skills within Nursing Homes and providing a local home visit service. Sean now covers much of our Home visits in the foxford/Swinford areas.

Office Manager
Aishling joined Footworks in 2021, taking over the management of the appointments diary and clinic communcations, this keeps all aspects of the business running like clockwork. She will be the friendly voice that greets you at the end of the phone, managing all the bookings in the dairy for clinical appointments and Housecalls for our Podiatrists, as well as juggling invoicing and those quick reminder calls the day before your booking with us. She has a wealth of experience in managment & medical adminstratie roles which has brought a new level of professionalism to the daily running of the Clinic.
